Tony Vander Baaren,
President
Tony brings almost 20 years of advertising strategy and disciplined account management fundamentals from some of Canada’s largest Advertising Agencies to his role in leading the SNAP Soup Team. Tony’s passion is in helping build “the big idea”, which will lead to developing a stronger brand for our Client’s and ultimately stronger bottom lines.
Glenn Paterson,
Vice President
Glenn brings a wealth of marketing experience to SNAP Soup. Prior to owning the first SNAP Newspaper franchise in Oakville, Glenn spent 20 years at a highly creative advertising agency in Toronto and was responsible for managing a business portfolio which included such well-known brands as Honda, Acura, TSN, Buckley’s Cough Syrup and the Ontario Credit Union Central to name a few. Glenn looks forward to sharing his extensive knowledge with our clients at SNAP Soup.
Ashley Ainslie,
Creative Director
Ashley's experience and vast knowledge of graphic design and modern technology have helped shape the vision at SNAP Soup. She is responsible for managing the overall direction of the studio ensuring that our client’s receive the highest quality of work that is delivered on time and on budget. Ashley is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflow and matching up our designers with clients based on their project requirements.
Tricia Wretham,
Associate Creative Director
Tricia's extensive background in editorial design, corporate communications and department management has given her the knowledge and drive to help shape the Creative Department at SNAP Soup. Her duties include managing and leading her creative design team and the hiring and training of new designers.
Neil Thorne,
Design Team Leader
Neil's diverse background in graphic design and business experience as an entrepreneur provides him with the knowledge and experience to lead his creative design team at SNAP Soup. He is also responsible for maintaining and building upon the SNAP Soup brand as it relates to all internal and external initiatives.
Erin Enns,
Design Team Leader
Erin's experience in graphic design has paved the way for her to become a valued member of the SNAP Soup design team. As a Design Team Leader, she will be responsible for the creative output from her team ensuring it exceeds the expectations of our clients. She will also assist Tricia in the training of new designers as they come on board at SNAP Soup.
Geoff Dossey,
Creative Designer
Through studying design and advertising at the college level and working professionally as a freelance designer, Geoff has a comprehensive knowledge of the field. He is responsible for managing three SNAP newspapers, in which his duties include daily communication with franchisees, building advertisements for clients and general paper layout. Geoff is proud of the work he has done, and loves the time he has had at SNAP. He works hard to make those around him enjoy the time they spend at the office.
Vince Scarfone,
Creative Designer
Vince graduated from the Visual Creative Arts Graphic Design program from Cambrian College in 2005, where he also acted as both vice president and president of Vision, the Student's Graphic Design Association. Vince is a visual problem solver and has been putting his expertise and talent into practice for over three years. With prior experience as a prepress designer, he is responsible for the layout and design of three papers at SNAP. Vince's passion for his trade and focus on continuing to enhance his skills are the driving force behind his goal of delivering first class service and design to his franchisees.
Domenic Staffiere,
Creative Designer
A creative designer/illustrator with proven talents in designing logos, graphics and illustrations for text books, newsletters, brochures and magazines, coupled with an understanding of composition. Dom has excellent project management skills and the ability to establish rapport with individuals at all levels. His is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art majoring in Advertising/ Illustration as well as a graduate of The Art Institute of Toronto in which he was on the Dean's Honor Roll and The President's Honor Roll.
Bernard Lechler,
Developer
Bernard grew up and attended school in Saskatchewan in the middle of the prairies. He moved to Manitoba and worked at AT&T for seven years where he did a range of jobs from taking software orders on the phone, providing technical support, building in-house applications, and managing their Customer Service Knowledge Management System. He was the webmaster for the University of Manitoba for three years before moving to Ontario. He is pleased to be away from the corporatocracy and working with SNAP Soup!
Aaron Wood,
Support Specialist/Developer
Aaron has been at the forefront of technology for over 15 years. He has been providing IT solutions to a vast array of industries and brings this wealth of experience to SNAP Soup. Aaron is ensuring SNAP Soup’s IT environment boasts the utmost reliability and is at the cutting edge. |
